The car looks fantastic after a wash with this soap. Like others have said, it really does not lather, but boy, the car looks great. I highly recommend it.
ConsNot much lather.

This is an awesome product water beads and rolls right off with just one wash. My only problem is there's not a lot of suds but still very slick and from what I understand is still very safe. It made my wash mitt very soft almost like I washed it with fabric softener.
ProsWater beading and made my wash mitt very soft.
ConsNot many suds and very pricey

Really Like This Wash
January 23, 2020
I've used this product for a few months now on two cars...one ceramic coated and another for my traditional sealant/wax car. I like it for both vehicles and it's very durable, and hydrophobic. I live in Michigan so I don't get much of a chance in the winter to do a traditional wash. Outside of the winter season, I'm washing the cars weekly and primarily due to it's longevity, and to a lesser extend the cost, I use this coating wash every other week. It just isn't necessary to do it more often.

The real deal for a Wash and wax type shampoo. Leaves some serious protection and bumps gloss up quite considerably. Pricy but effective.

By far the most protection left behind from any soap I've used. You could probably wash once every couple weeks with no other LSP and your car would always be protected and stay good looking in between washes from the self cleaning of the soap.
ProsBest in its class compared to anything I've ever used.

I have washed 3 of our cars/trucks with this product and it left a nice shine and it seemed to rejuvenate the water beading up on the surface.
ProsA little goes a long way
Conskind of pricey so i backed off on how much i used, I only used 1 ounce to like 3 gallons. Still worked great.

Great coating wash

I used this to wash my Jeep that was ceramic coated January of 19 and was starting to loose its slick feel. This product restored the slick feeling to my paint. I am very impressed that it delivered as promised.

So far so good

I used the Wolfgang SiO2 Coating Wash once so far on my wif's daily Sienna. I have to say it created hydrophobic properties immediately during the wash. Water was sheeting much better and beading as well. It left the surface quite slick. We will see how it stands up to time and if it will get better with multiple washes.
ProsUse just a little amount of it. It does not sud like regular car soap, but it washes well.
ConsQuite expensive for a car wash soap.

Another top tier product from Wolfgang. After my most recent strip / clay bar / light polish, I tried Wolfgang's new SiO spray on freshly corrected paint. The results were incredible. Far better gloss and durability than any conventional (non-SiO) wax or sealant. This wash has the slickest, slipperiest feel of any car wash I have used - particularly on a ceramic or SiO finish. Almost like a booster to the finish. Rinse water sheets / evaporates / practically disappears off the paint for an incredible finish. Note - this is a very low-suds product - don't let that discourage or fool you ... it works! PS - tried using this off label as a rinseless bucket wash - one capful in 2-1/2 gal of water. Washed and dried one panel at a time. Worked flawlessly.
ProsSlickness - rinses clean - boosts ceramic / SiO finish.
Well worth its weight

I was sincerely shocked when I rinsed the product off of the vehicle for the first time. I couldn't believe how hydrophobic this made the surface and once dried and set for a little bit, the smoothness was incredible. I will be using this not only for a maintenance wash but also to give value to those who want to see what a ceramic coating could do.
ProsEase of use. Once poured in a bucket, you just blast it one time. I found that I went through the whole vehicle without blasting again. It was once activated and will become again once you blast it off the paint. IMO you do not need to keep blasting the bucket with water to foam. The foam is irrelevant. Still smooth and easy to use.
ConsSlightly more expensive than competitors.

Great wash to keep up a finish
June 14, 2019
I received a bottle of Uber SiO2 wash to review. The first target was my son's 2005 Camry that has been neglected for two months outside. Prior to winter, I put a coat of Wolfgang paint sealant 3.0 on it. To put it plainly, the protective layer was almost, or non-existent. After an initial wash, the water beaded better, and sheeted off somewhat. I repeated with a quick second wash, rinse, and wipe=down. The sheeting properties and beading of water were restored. After two weeks the car still looks clean through weather, and dust. I used it again today on our Highlander which also lives outdoors. After one wash application, the water beads and sheets well, and restored the depth to the metallic gray paint. Great wash product.
ProsUpkeeps and restores water beading and sheeting properties Good lubricity
ConsHaving to blast the wash bucket with water to get the soap/foam to activate regularly.
