Best Tire Dressing Hands Down
September 15, 2019
I've used multiple tire dressings that make the tire look extremely dark but sling significantly or they look beautiful but as soon as you drive dirt dust and grime cling to the tire. Tufshine enables me to simply spray down the tire with a hose and wipe dry. Maintenance is so simple and the results are stunning as long as you prepare your tires properly and wipe off all tire cleaning residue. Make sure you keep applying tire cleaner and scrubbing them then rinse your brush and tire thoroughly between tire cleaning applications. Once the foam from scrubbing the tire is no longer brown and is pure white you are ready to coat the tires. Go around making sure they are dry and wipe off any residue that is left from cleaning with a short Knapp microfiber. Don't apply in sunlight or after driving a long distance. Applying the shine on a very hot or very cold tire will cause cracking of the clearcoat and non optimal condItions. Shaded and dry 60-80 degrees seems to work best.
Great tire shine

Last long and easy to apply. Cleaning the tires throughly is the key to longevity.
It lasts, and lasts, and lasts.....

Tuf Shine is better than any tire dressing I have ever used. After cleaning the tires really well on our two daily drivers I applied two coats to achieve the amount of gloss desired, and it has lasted for months. On my wife's new car (new tires) the shine has diminished over 12 months but they are still nice and deep black... ready for a redo when I do her spring detail. On my old Corolla (old tires) the shine lasted for months, but was fading after winter. I found one coat to give tires a deep black look and two coats to give them a nice semi-gloss matte look like I prefer.
ProsGives tires a great look that actually lasts for months.
ConsFirst application requires a very intense tire cleaning. I used combinations of A2Z and Griots tire cleaner. Looking back it would have been easier to use the cleaner they sell.

With a little work 2 twice a year my tires look great for at least 6 months. Best tire product I have ever used, much better than any of the spray on products you can buy in a store.

I have a large assortment of tire products, I have used them a few times, and am not happy with the results, so I go in search of another tire product. I will look no further!! Tuf Shine has left my tires nice and shiny and they look amazing! Be sure and buy the tire cleaner and take the time to clean your tires as directed. It took me just over an hour to do my tires - so be sure and allow yourself enough time. Would I buy this product again? Yes!! My friends have been asking me what I did to my tires to make them look so good!!
Prosgreat tire shine!
ConsTakes a little while to apply
Excellent Product. ********* Key Tip ***********
April 12, 2015
I would definitely purchase this product again. I've been doing detailing for over 30 years and the product delivers as advertised. A key tip. Surface prep is the key as noted in the instructions, however here's a tip that may save you time in prep. Use Simple Green and a separate tire brush first to clean the tires. I did 2 passes/cleaning with Simple Green. Next use the tire cleaner and brush that came with the kit. I only had to clean the tires twice with the tire cleaner that came with the kit and the foam/cleaner remained white!!!! I only used two coats of the clearcoat and it left an incredible smooth shine!!! No flakes, chips, etc. I recommend trying this method. I did my neighbors Subauru only using the tire cleaner that came with the kit and after 8 passes/cleanings on each tire did the foam finally stay white!!!!

Best Tire Coating

Love this product. Best tire sealant I have found, but you will certainly pay for it. The bottle lasts 2 months or so for me, but it does an excellent job. It also comes with its own applicator. I am on my fourth bottle now.
ProsShine, ease of use, effectiveness, durability

Applies easily, small bottle goes far.
ProsDries quickly, doesn't splash.
ConsNot as high of gloss as expected. I'm up to four coats applied the past month, still a very modest shine.
lives up to it's claims

It's been said but i'll say it again....prep is key! I slacked the cleaning on my second car and go patchy results. Luckily I had perfect results with my first car, otherwise I might have blamed the product. So I just thoroughly cleaned them again reapplied and have excellent results. This is how good this stuff is, I was blow drying my wheels and tires with the master blaster and got a little freaked out because my tires looked like they weren't getting dry. Talk about the "wet look"!

This stuff is incredible! I think back at all the years of shining my tires after every wash and wish this stuff had been available! I was skeptical before purchasing because I wasn't sure if for the cost (which seems high for such a small bottle) I would get the high gloss shine I like. Two coats made the tires look wet shiny and the third kept them just as shiny, but I felt gave it an extra layer of protection. I can't stress this enough - MAKE SURE TO CLEAN YOUR TIRES FIRST as directed. I used the tire brush I bought here on Autogreek and Eagle One All Wheel and Tire Cleaner Spray and cleaned them twice. If you don't clean the tires completely, this product can not properly seal and directions say can flake off. I have gotten compliments from my neighbors and friends on how shiny my tires are! They stay shiny even when your car gets dusty or rained on!
ProsHigh-gloss shine Long lasting Time saver Protects expensive SUV tires from hot Texas sun

A little work but worth the effort. Used the cleaner several times as directed then applied shine 2-3 coats. Just light clean and touch up after each wash. Does not sling or wash off.
Long last Shine

Surface prep is key with this product. Clean and scrub the tires until no brown residue comes off. Application is fairly simple, just follow the instructions. 1 Coat gives a matte factory finish, 2 a semi glossy finish, and 3 coats gives you the wet look. I did all 3 of my vehicles with this product 4 months ago and they all look just as good as the first day. Has that 'just dressed' look that I have been chasing using other products. I use UWW+ to clean the tires as you don't want to use any harsh cleaners or it will remove or lessen the effect of the tire clearcoat. If you plan on doing multiple vehicles I would pick up some additional applicators so you have a clean one for each use.
