It's for the birds
May 18, 2019
I use Auto Bathe and boars hair brush for a full wash. Poorboy's waterless is perfect for getting the occasional seagull or other bird poop before it can attack the paint. I have not tried using it for a full wash.

Good on heavy dust, road grim, & bird bombs. I have used it under many conditions (in the sun,the shade, & humidity)& Poor Boys has done a great job with no streaks
ProsCan even be used in near freezing temps. Just adjust your technique, not much product, & a smaller area
ConsNone

Great for classic cars
December 15, 2016
I'm not sure how much use I would get out of this product in the detailing business, as I don't think it would be cost effective, but for my specific application, it was perfect. I have a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback that just received a new coat of paint. All classic cars are susceptible to rust, especially Fords, so I definitely dont want to break out the hose. I was very generous with the product, so I used half of the 32 oz bottle, but my was was CLEAN with no excess moisture in the cowl, doors, and other various places that Mustangs seem to rust. That's $8 worth of product for one car, but $$$$$$ worth of peace of mind KNOWING where every drop of liquid went. I have not used it in direct sunlight (which it is supposed to be great for) as the Mustang lives in the garage, but I can absolutely attest to the cleaning abilities and lubricity for a WW of and entire 1968 Fastback. Will definitely purchase again, but most likely in the gallon size.

Quick, Easy, Great Results!
June 6, 2015
This has become my go to quick detailer! Spray it on, let it sit a few seconds and wipe off... its just that simple. Takes the dust and other items that stick to a car that is routinely washed and waxed. I recommend this to everyone that enjoys their car as it is so much easier to carry this around rather than a box of alternatives.
ProsWorks great, super easy, hasn't scratched the finish with a microfiber towel.
Consfragrance is a little heavy but nothing terrible.

Seems good

Bought this along with the 8 oz jar of Poorboy's clay, since it recommended using this for lubricant. At $15, it's not as cheap as Meguiar's Last Touch 1 gal when we're talking about using it as a clay lubricant. I would have bought that but it wasn't in stock at the time. Still, it seems to work great as lube, even when diluted 2:1 with water. The fluid has about the same viscosity as water, is not slippery to the feel, and is heavily perfumed. I am not a fan of the perfume smell personally, since it is quite heavy and smells sweet/cheap. If Poorboy could tone the smell down and make it less cloying, it'd be better. Cleaning power seems good; it lifts weeks old dirt off of my car with ease, although you have to be consistent with flipping the towel over to expose fresh fabric to the paintwork. I'd rate it a 4, simply because of the perfume smell. Its performance isn't in question; it works great. Note: I've never used another waterless wash before, but it works as advertised in my experience.
