Semi hollow protector is a good investment. Saving the doors and Sheetrock from abuse. Even though it's plastic the hollow body does provide some give or cushion when struck pre drilled holes line up with studs.

I installed two of these inside my garage to prevent accidentally hitting the wall with my car door. I installed these using a hammer drill cause I have concrete blocks. It comes with all you need to install the Park Smart Wall Guards.
ProsEasy install, keeps from damaging door edge.
Not what expected

The product is too hard to be a protector. Thought it was going to be a cushion. Also has to be attached with screws. Wish it could be attached with adhesive.
ConsHeavy Too hard Installation not quick

Does a great job protecting my car doors from banging the walls in my garage.
ProsEasy to install with included hardware if you're handy with a drill. Plastic material easy to clean and looks very neat. Generally wide enough to accommodate different cars / door levels. Very good quality and made in the USA.
ConsNone. Although it would be useful if it came in adjustable lengths.

plastic not rubber, would do just as well to by a roll of foam rubber insulation and stick it to what you want to protect
Prosit is a door guard, inexpensive
Consnot rubber, does not have magnetic strip on back to attach to metal objects like tool cabinets tfhat many folks might have at the perimeter of their garage
