Love These Pads
June 13, 2021
I've only ever used these pads with my Meguiars MT300 but they've done great with the 8mm throw. I like using the orange for harder clearcoat and the white for softer clears. The grey is way too stiff for doing anything except on the flattest of panels, though. Excellent price compared to other similar thin pads!

The pads are very solid made and have great finishing ability. I however feel as though they lack just a little in the cutting department but overall I feel they are a great value for what you pay and do last a good long time as well!
ProsFinishing Cost
ConsCutting is not the greatest.

Nice but not great

These pads work well. However they tend to leave a lot of debris on the vehicle. My experience with these pads is the thinner, tapered pads produce less heat.

The best foam pads, hands down!

These pads are excellent quality and work perfectly. The 5.5 inch ThinPro pads are great, and fit the Lake Country 5 inch backing plate perfectly. They work great on flat surfaces, as well as having just the right amount of flex to work up to curves, contours, and body lines. These are the only pads i will use going forward, highly recommend!

A great pad. I like these for the Mark III more than the rupes pads, they aren't quite as thick. Works like a charm.

Purchases for use with a makita forced orbit. The stiffer thin pads took a little getting used to but overall this was a fantastic choice. I was able to overcome the polisher tossing around with the grey and orange pads with more speed and polish. I had always used thick 6.5" pads
ProsThin Easy to store Easy to wash Function as needed
ConsThe sense thin pads are not as good for forced orbit but still surprisingly good

My favorite pad system

After years of using the CCS pads and trying others like microfiber pads, I have found these to be the most durable, heat resistant pads for correction work. They Grey ones cut really well and finish down very nicely. The orange thinpro pads can take a lot of abuse and are my goto for AIO work. They provide a decent amount of cut and finish down pretty slick without any micromarring or buffer haze.
ProsHeat resistant for abuse.
