I bought this a while back and had forgotten I had it. So while cleaning my new car recently I decided to give it a try. The first problem is in application. They recommend a foam applicator. Not being familiar with the product I squeezed it on and began application to the tire. I noticed that some of it got on the wheels and had to be wiped off immediately. I continued trying to control the product wiping it off when I went onto the wheels. The next day I noticed a small smear on the wheel well. Now the product had dried and was difficult to remove. Conclusion: Must be applied with extreme care. More time consuming then other products. Less gloss then other products. It does however last at least a few weeks BUT because of the low gloss factor it really difficult to appreciate.
ConsDifficult to apply. Low gloss.

It lasts long just as it says it does. Creates a nice satin finish on your tires.

I've used a number of supposed long lasting tire dressings, this is one of the best. Easy to apply and nice appearance without that wet, sticky look. Has lasted through a couple of washes so I'm really pleased with it.

I have used Griot's Garage Long-Lasting Tire Dressing for several years. The product surpasses any other tire dressing currently on the market. I use this product for other uses such as Dashboards and Rocker Panel Trim with very good results.

I have a client who bought a product kit from Griot's Garage and this tire dressing was included. He asked me to put some one the tires of his Porsche Cayman S so i thought well i would like to see how it works too as i like trying new products. The gel went on with ease and i layered it to achieve the shine i wanted and finished the detail. The product looked good. I went back over a month later and the shine was still there, it looked as if i had just put it on.....but then i noticed all the little black spots on the paint from front to back. It does sling off and when it does it is a pain in the rear to wash off the paint and nearly impossible to get off the tires. They weren't lying when they said long lasting. However i do believe this would be an excellent product as long as it is NOT layered. put a small amount on and wipe off the excess. Other than that it did exactly as advertised and kept the tires looking great. My mistake by layering it.
