Good buffer
Only used it couple of times. I think it powerful liked they advertised. Comfortable to handle.
ProsPowerful comfortable handles on all angles. Easy to change from 6? to 5? backing plates. Great idea to have removable core.
ConsLittle heavy

NON Pro, enthusiast.
Not a pro. Never really got into detailing until recently. Purchased a new vehicle and wanted to apply waxes and sealants with machine for ease of application. Bought this set as a beginner looking to venture into machine polishing to maintain my cars paint. GG is the perfect entry level polisher for my needs, and I’m sure many others out there. This set includes enough to get anyone started and at a great price.
ProsPrice. Got mine on sale and discount so it was well worth the purchase. Includes enough variety to get any DIYer started into polishing.

It Just Works While You Don't (so much)
Nice consumer product that can run all day with good ergonomics. I spent six hours on my travel trailer (not done yet) and was impressed that this unit never lagged and was not nearly as heavy as you would expect. Little things like the hold on the front and adjustable handle were appreciated. Decent price too.. This will spend most of its time in storage, then be used for hours straight. Now worries Get on now, but order more pads.
ProsLight for what it can do No quit Easy pad/disk change with tools included

Rock solid product
Reasonably priced. Meets my needs perfectly. Only short coming is I'd like the cord to be about 5' longer.

Nice machine, but pads are garbage
Machine works well other than frequent pad stall on angled panels or trim. Pads are junk. Get a different package
ProsMachine is smooth
ConsPads are garage.

Good value
This is my first experience with a power polisher and it makes life much easier. It doesn't have variable speeds or maybe all the features of others but I gave it five stars because it works like it's supposed to at a very fair price. Very happy overall.

nice polisher
my first poisher so i cant compare to others but it worked, and worked for 6 hours or more straight. the back plate got warm, but it never effected the pads or the performance. i didnt use much else that came with this kit other than the towels which worked just fine. i tried the orange griots garage pad and it dusted entirely too much. luckily i had bought some lake country pads that didnt dust at all.
Prosget a few extra things for the cost of the polisher and backplate
Consyour going to need an extension or cord reel as the cord wasnt long enough for my small or average garage

Great Polisher
I have two of these and use the smaller backing plate. Griot's Garage makes a great DA polisher. Any thing they produce is done with pride.
ProsWorks very well and can do the job with the right products. I have the longer cord on the two I have, the shorter cord would be just fine.
ConsDon't know if it's a con or not, would like the Boss G15 backing plate on it. Nothing against Griot's Garage it's more to Autogeek, it seems like I order something and a few days later they have a better sale, it may be just my timing.
