I love the freedom of cordless and the Flex quality. It has enough power to do paint correction on hard German paint. I already have the Flex PE14-2-150 and XC 3401, but I think they will collect dust unless I have a very tough job. (I also have the Rupes LHR 15, 75 and iBrid). So far I have used it with the Rupes DA system. (I am used to Scholl concepts, but find Scholl somewhat overpriced in the US).
ProsCordless freedom... Flex quality
ConsIt is relatively expensive for a hobby detailer like me, but I feel it's worth it.
Awesome tool have been using for years

This machine is not going to disappoint.
Great for final polishing. Superior battery technology!
May 11, 2020
Love this tool! Super smooth. Produces show car quality final polishing results. Battery last a long time. By the time the first battery is dead, second battery is fully charged from completely dead allowing non stop work. Quality build. Keep in mind this tool isn't designed for serious cutting or compounding. Designed for superior finishing as a compliment to a rotary or CBeast.
ProsSuper smooth operation! No user fatigue! Battery longevity, NO CORDS!,,,
ConsNone ....... just don?t expect this to be a heavy cutter/compounder Not designed for that. I only wish the speed control had a more positive clicking. It can be bumped easily but I got used to that quickly.

Charges quickly, and holds charge well. Buffer speeds and performance as good as corded. Awesome buffer. Somewhat pricey but you get what you pay for. Velcro attachment is strong..

Pros1. Long battery life: 5AH battery can polish a mid-size car 2. Battery charger looks professional
Cons1. No storage hard case as Europe version 2. Can't share XC3401's accessories (e.g. backing plates)

My first cordless polisher
March 31, 2019
Machine has very high build quality and reliable. I think it is the most powerful cordless polisher in the world so far. Machine has a bit heavy with 5A batteries, but it runs very well with 2.5A battereis. I am still very exciting to have this polisher even i have got it in Jan 2019 from Autogeek.
ProsBatteries life is good Batteries charger very efficiency Polisher has very strong power and high speed
ConsNo at the moment
Excellent Polisher with Great Battery Life
January 31, 2019
Yes there is no Case for this, my Rupes Bigfoot that this Replaced only came with a Cardboard Box as well, so I don't see Knocking off 2 Stars for that... Battery runs long enough to do a whole Car. Comes with 2 Batteries so you can have 1 Charging while using the other. Polisher runs very Smooth which is great as 2 of my Cars are Old Vettes & too much Vibration just isn't good with Fiberglass Bodies. Backing is super Strong and holds the Pads on very good. I have this and a Rupes iBrid Nano for the Tight Areas & that covers everything I could need to Polish and No Cords dragging across my Cars.
ProsNo Cord Good Battery Life Multiple Batteries Included Charger Included Smooth Operation
Really good so far

This buffer is really nice without the cord getting in the way. Seems to have the power that it needs to actually correct paint. So far for me the battery life has been great. Came with a nice battery charger that has a cooling fan to help keep batteries charged quickly without heating up to shorten their life. I think for someone that hasn't done much buffing, this buffer would seem a little heavy at first but would be easy for most to get use to.

New to DA polishers in general and figured I'd go top level for DIY application. Great device, good life on the battery. Really like the technology, not a lot has been noted but Brushless motor. Only gripe is international offers storage container, not offered here. No cord, but you do need to store the batteries and charger somewhere. Using Lake Thin Pro pads and couldn't be happier with the results. Overall great product well built for years to come.
ProsWeight Battery life ease of use No power cable
ConsNo storage included or option ike international
Americans get cheated on the FLEX XFE15 150 Cordless Polisher
July 5, 2018
If you expect to pay $550 on the FLEX XFE15 150 Cordless Polisher and also get the nice FLEX storage case for this tool as featured on the FLEX website or YouTube videos supplied by Europeans who got this tool before it was available in America, you are wrong. You get shipped the polisher and the individual components in throw away cardboard boxes. I'm not sure if this is the only way this tool will get shipped to the US, or whether Autogeek arranged cheaper packaging with FLEX to augment its own profit margin. Lacking a custom-fit storage case might not be a big deal to some, but it is a disappointment when you expect to get treated as others elsewhere who purchased this tool, and its an annoyance to have to go shopping for a plastic box that will fit it and its components.
ProsThe obvious, not having to always have to screw around with an electrical cord around your neck is a big plus. This is especially an asset in doing car roofs where you might be standing on a step stool and reaching one-handed.
ConsBattery life is OK, but you'll exhaust one large battery and tap into another to complete one car.
