Not easy to apply correctly
First time applying this and got streaks from it going on too thick in places, didn't realize it til a few days later. I cant remove them without stripping the car. Other than that on the other places I applied it looks good. I have a few ceramic coat brands and this one is the hardest to apply correct.

Great coating
This is a solid nano coating. I've put a few on, and this one is by far the best. Far better than Wolfgang which is the last one I was applying. Don't be afraid to put it on, its user friendly. It does seem to take a little more elbow grease to buff it off. But it works. Noticeably. And it adds what seems to be a very thick layer of protection. The water beads and sheets nicely. Follow with reload to maintain!

The hang tag that comes with the product says it all... JUNK
WARNING - DO NOT WASH This vehicle is protected with CQUARTZ Washing, decontaminating, or polishing without proper knowledge or technique may cause damage to the coating and you will be held liable for correction or replacement of CQUARTZ coating DO NOT WASH WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER -- The hang tag that comes with CQUARTZ I've sold and applied a variety of paint protection products over the years and I'm here to ask on thing? How good can this product possibly be that you have to threaten your service people with liability for washing your car? Not exactly confidence-inspiring in the face of bird poop, tree sap, or acid rain. Dumb.

Finally Found It
I am so Anal about my cars and car paint. I've owned a 1993 Mercedes 300CE for 23 years and it's well loved. The biggest issue is the old single stage BLACK paint that oxidizes and makes it difficult to keep looking fresh. I do a complete buff at least once a quarter. It's just difficult to keep this black paint shining and looking fresh. I finally used CarPro Cquartz. I had been looking to lock in all my hard detailing work. Skeptical, I just tried it on the trunk. WOW. Did I say WOW? WOW! Cquartz LOCKED in the shine and STOPPED the oxidizing. I was stunned. The shine was wonderful, but the really big bonus, IT ALWAYS looks clean and fresh. As the advert says, it repels dirt. It just looks great. At worst it may get a layer of dust, yes dust no dirt, and then a light dusting makes it look new. So, I went further and put it to the test. The black rubber window gaskets, the black trim everything went from Texas heat dull to wonderful NEW. Finally, finally I've found a product that holds up under the Texas sun and keeps this 25 year old classic black looking great. Make sure you do a great prep and polish prior to coating. All your hard work will pay off. Downside, I haven't found any. Cost, well it saves me so much work it's well worth the money. Easy of use, easy. Just do it in a garage or cool place and follow the instructions and don't rush. Let it dry! Don't jack with it until it's dry. Again, the single stage old tech black paint that would oxidize and turn all my polish rags black has been healed. I love this stuff.
ProsWorks as advertised. You can use it on rubber, trim everything. A little goes a long way.
ConsHaven't found any.

Great Product one reservation
I just used this product. I got this and the IronX Lemon (more later on this product). Application is straight forward. I used the IronX very sticky, and cleaned off. I did use an alcohol cleaner after that. The CQuartz went on very well. Best I have used ever. Easy to spread evenly over the surface. I wiped off excess after 10 min. to even out. The result was great. Next morning something strange though. It was sticky (12hrs). I used Pin. Crystal Mist to clean off the sticky. Went well. Then I followed up with the Reload next. Boy does this Reload stink like hair perm. Maybe I got that wrong, but need feedback from others on that. The end result is the product great even and near perfect shine. Overall, I loved the product. I have used 6 of the top ceramic sealants out there. This was the best of those, minus the stink of Reload.
ProsGreat result and application was easier without any streaks.
ConsI hated the stink of the co-product that was to be used with this product. Other than that no other cons at all. I also have a sticky feel not smooth from this product. Not sure how to get ride of it, (I did try Pin. Crystal Mist with some positive results) and it attaches everything dusty.

A Must Have Item For Looks and Protection
Unbelieveable product! It looks like you poured liquid glass on the finish. Definitely polish the clear coat first, a necessary step for a perfect appearance. It looked good after three hours, but after the full 48 hour cure, it is amazing. I wish I had known about this pruduct years ago.
ProsFast, east to apply, no waste.

Fantastic product
I'm the owner of KC Detailing out here in Kansas City. We have tried a lot of different auto detailing products. CQuartz is one of our new favorites. Looks amazing, has great durability, and if you layer it, it reduces swirls and webbing on the paint. Word of advice: Make sure to layer with at least two coats. I would suggest 3-4 if you are trying to hide imperfections. Make sure you apply enough product so it looks like the instructional video. Don't put to much though either. Kind Regards, Tim Dodd <a hfef=">KC Detailing</a>
