Makes wet vehicles dry. What's more to say.
Big Guzzler Works
May 27, 2020
The 20 x 40 guzzler did its job as advertised. It was better than using towels like I had done in the past. Used it first then followed up with the 16 x 24 guzzler. It is worth the purchase.

The guzzler by cobra is great at getting water off my suv .i was amazed at how much water it can hold.i bought two 20 x 40 and am happy with them. I will buy more in the future. Thanks

It works pretty good but I have to wring it out a lot otherwise it pushes water. Not really a whole lot of absorption

Truly Guzzles all the water off my car.!
January 22, 2020
I didn't believe it until I used this Guzzler .. one towel drank up all the water from a large car and still could have done another ! ! Next to blowing the water after washing, this is probably the safest 'contact' method to dry the car because you don't need to wipe or rub; just place the Guzzler on the car and the water soaks in. I love it!!
ProsNo danger of scratching/swirling as from sliding or rubbing a drying towel or chamois..

Very Absorbent Drying Towel
November 10, 2019
3 of these towels and I can dry my full size GMC 1500. When they fell damp, they still suck up water without leaving any behind.
ConsActual size is 1" narrower and 2" shorter
Drinks Up Water
November 10, 2019
Makes drying much easier. Holds water and dries with less effort.
September 22, 2019
Works as expected. I like the size and it makes drying my A5 coupe roof and hood very quick and easy.. While I think its a good product I don't think it's any better than the Meguiar's water magnet which is less expensive.
ProsSize of sheet makes drying the large panels easy. Product works well
ConsPerformance is not noticeably better than the Meguiar's product that justifies the higher price.
August 24, 2019
Absorbs a lot of water and still manages to dry the vehicle.

Still my favorite drying towel
August 24, 2019
These types of microfiber drying towels will need to pick up some water before becoming soaked enough to pick up water thoroughly. Once it gets going it really is great at drying cars, you'd be amazed at how easy and how much water this towel can hold.
December 7, 2018
Dries better than anything else i've ever used. My truck, shower doors, house windows, etc.
ProsGreat towel to dry anything!
ConsA little pricey.
By C S.
Been using these for years
November 3, 2018
These really soak up the water and do not cause swirls
Only microfiber to use on dark paint
August 20, 2018
I have used these the last couple of years and they are terrific MF towels for dark paint. They will leave no streaking behind when used like some of the "fluffy" MF towels. I use the "fluffy" ones on light paint cars and they work fine but these are all I use on dark paint.
Prosno streaking on dark paint or windows
July 1, 2018
Had some other brand car drying microfiber towels and they did not perform anywhere near like the Cobra guzzler. They are a bit more money but are well made and work well. I even had the kids get me a couple more for fathers day
ProsAll around great towel
ConsWash as directed the colors can run

Retire that old chamois
April 19, 2018
The Guzzler lives up to its name. I have been using a 20 X 40 Guzzler for a year now and will never go back to a chamois. After washing one of my cars 1 guzzler will dry 90 percent of the car. I then use a smaller version to finish the job in tight areas. The thing I like most is their much softer than a chamois on your painted surfaces and less money than a good chamois. You throw them in the washer and dryer and their ready to go again. The only problem is I have to hide them or my wife will use them around the house for cleaning in our kitchen and bath.
Supreme Guzzler Waffle Weave 20" x 40" Drying Towel
March 14, 2018
The two smaller size towels worked so well that I have to return to Auto Geek to purchase the 20" x 40" towel.
February 23, 2018
Does the job with no side effects!
ProsSucks up water
Massive water pickup

These towels last for a while, but eventually they will lose their ability to absorb so I ordered a few towels to replace the older ones. These towels soak up and suck up water very effectively with a few wipes or just absorb water by dabbing. They make short work of drying the car and leave no scratches, mars or marks of any kind.
ProsDo just as described. High quality. Tend to work better when wet rather than dry.

Performs as advertised

the 20 X 40 size i purchased works well on small cars without having to be wrung out, but both my cars are considered compacts. No streaking or water spots noted on painted surfaces.

Worked very well
March 22, 2016
I was a skeptical about the ability to dry my vehicle, I have been using a chamois for the longest time. Boy was I surprised at how quickly I finished without water spots!
Good Product but I was over sold
September 29, 2015
I like it and will continue to use it but good lord how can anyone say they never had to wring it out until they were finished? I wrung it out over 10 times on a Toyota Venza.
Merchant Response:Darryl, The best way to dry a car is to "flood" the paint with water before drying. This is accomplished by running a low pressure stream of water over the vehicle. What happens is it creates a sheeting effect that flushes water off the finish. It works especially well on a vehicle that's waxed. This leaves considerably less water on the surface, making drying your vehicle a breeze. Check out our proper washing and drying guide for more information.
ProsWorks well and covers a wide area.
ConsPrice. Not as good as stated IMO.
Drinks up the water.
June 15, 2015
Mike really means what he says about this towel absorbing the water from the body completely. I prefer to pat dry the truck and one towel can do the job. It's a little Tacoma. It's a great choice for anyone! You can get multiple small ones instead of the larger since for some, they may be easier to use.
ProsI've washed it four times and so far no problems.
ConsTime will tell

I use a swueegee then use this towel, by the time you're done the towel feels barely used! Works great! Doesn't scratch! Highly recommended.
Guzzler... as promised
May 11, 2015
This towel "guzzled" up the post-wash rinse like a champ. I pulled it out of the package after washing the car and went right to work. When used in tandem with a silicone squeegee, it made short work of the dry time. I plan to buy another one of these towels!

Was given one from my buddy....................dude were did you get this I want my own. Palm Beach Motoring is were too go. Have been in reconditioning for 35 years took me that long to find the best of the best item waffle towel.......try it
November 13, 2014
First time user for this product. I was a bit surprised by how nice it was. I did a Subaru Outback with one towel after blow-drying the car with a Stihl backpack blower. The towel still had more absorbtion left. Get 2 towels if you dry the regular way with no blower.
ProsPERFECT SIZE High contrast color so it can be easily found among other stuff in my garage.
ConsA bit pricy . . . possibly.
Better than expected
November 11, 2014
These drying towels work better than expected. Awesome, 1 towel dry's my 2014 Focus St .
Consnothing found yet and don't expect too.
October 20, 2014
Great towels, all around. The most absorbent waffle weave I've used! Got these on "manufacturer error" BOGO, and towels worked perfectly fine. There was a bit of staining, but most of it was removed with a wash using Wolfgang micro. restorer. Made me a happy man!
ProsAbsorbency is off the charts good Great quality piping Feel fantastic The interesting 20x40 size is actually very useful for folding into 8 panels
ConsThey don't make Cobra bath towels... because that would perhaps be the coolest gift ever.

Best Drying Towel
October 11, 2014
This towel is amazing! It soaks up water like a sponge and glides on paint to leave it spotless and streak free.
ProsNo streaks, no scratches, no water spots ever. Could they make an edgeless one? That would be even better!
ConsI got on sale so I see no cons.
July 20, 2014
Never would have believed how easy it was to dry my car. This guzzler did it in a couple of mins #
July 2, 2014
Super soft and did a great job, I should have got 2 of them because by the time I got to the end of the job it was leaving behind a little moister.

These towels absorb well and don't leave streaks.
ProsDon't scratch, dry well
April 16, 2014
This cuts my drying time in half! Which is a time saver for those Sarurday mornings, before car show! Will be ordering several.
ProsDries fast, can use couple times in a row, if your careful not to get dirty.
ConsLittle big , but believe they make smaller size.
throw away your chamois
April 20, 2013
I grew up in the time where the only thing available to dry your car was a chamois or a clean rag so I thought this would be an inferior product. Nope, was I ever wrong. First time I used a Guzzler Waffle I was hooked. Never going back to a chamois EVER! Soaks up a lot of water, very gentle on the finish and conforms well to every shape on the car.
August 24, 2012
I always looked at this towel with great suspicion mainly because of the price. I finally pulled the trigger last week and used it for the first time today on my 2012 Focus 5-door. It only took ONE towel to dry my whole car, sold I would have paid $30. I can't believe what an amazing towel it is, definitely worth the price.

I have a detail shop and have tried dozens of different towels, including cotton and microfiber and the Supreme Guzzler is the softest, most absorbent towel I have used. After running a car through a blow dryer, this towel barely uses two sides to finish off the car when folded in a quad. I have not used for waxing, only drying and rate it a 10 out of 10!

Works pretty good
November 11, 2011
This is the first waffle weave towel I have used to dry my car. It worked pretty good, held a lot of water and dried my car well. I would recommend it.
March 15, 2011
It is very rare for me to be so impressed with a new product. I was skeptical about the claims about this towel and was so incredibly surprised by its performance that I now plan to order the combo as well. It almost dried my X5 completely and this is not a small vehicle. I had just the front facia left to do, which I did dry with the towel but had some small streaks left that I dried with another small MF towel. The most impressive thing is that it dries in one pass - period. This reduces the amount of time spent drying the car considerably and reduces multiple contacts with the paint - excellent! Highly recommended!
April 21, 2010
I have to agree with everyone that the towels are very soft and pull up water quite well. However, 20"x40" is just too small. I'm not sure if the rest of the happy customers are using them in conjunction with a water blade, but two of these alone were not enough to completely dry my 4-dr hatchback. They are also difficult to wring out (which I needed to do several times). So either buy a whole stack of these or several of the Ultimates instead.
