Ok (Window Waterspot Review)
October 28, 2015
Some of the worst things when detailing a car are all the waterspots. From vinegar, to compound buffing, to acrylic acid, to this chemical guys waterspot remover, Ive literally tried everything. I tried this on a customers dodge ram that he failed to remove waterspots with all sorts of stuff and thought id give this a try. Rubbed it on like directions said and worked it in with elbow grease. After a few attempts and wipe offs it removed some waterspots but given the time frame vs time is money with detailing its not worth it. I used Barkeepers friend made it into a paste and rubbed it in with a sponge pad over the windows and washed it off, it removed way more waterspots than the CG WSR and it was only 1$. I love CG and am a fan of a lot of their other products but this one was just an average joe, nothing to fancy and may take a lot of time and effort. This is for the windows, as for on the body I havent tried this CG WSR but if the need arises ill give it another shot after all its just part of my detailing arsenal.

i think people have too high of expectations for this product. it is a abrasive free chemical cleaner and is not designed for etchings or pitting even if chemical guys says so. it is designed to remove light water spots, meaning they are on the surface and not etched into the paint. i used it on my vehicle after i parked next to a sprinkller system and it removed the water spots great without me polishing. great product if you know what to expect.

I purchased this and used it on three different occasions on two different vehicles. I followed the directions and this spot remover failed to remove or lighten any spotting. I ended up using a competitor's chrome polish and the water spot's came off with ease. JW

Don't waste your money. This stuff does not work on any water spots at all. I bought this stuff last week and tried it on my car. $19.99 gone.
