Best applicator pads
June 16, 2022
These are my go-to's for sealant application. I don't need paint correction, so I use the red pads, which have no cutting action. Easy to grip and apply.
ProsSize and thickness of pad.
Great for hand polish

These are great for polishing areas that can't be reached by machine. Lake Country quality. A little larger than I expected, but not to a fault.
ProsGood quality, easy to use

Get's those hard to reach places!

If you're like most of us, and not made of money to have every tool for every nook and cranny, then these are a must. You can get decent hand correction results with an aggressive polish, and pad in the spots behind the door handles, door jambs, etc. The orange is my go to for an kind of polishing. White works great for a all in one such as Klasse, or Blackfire One Step. The red is my go to for traditional non-cleaner wax applications.
ProsMix and Match your color preferences.
Good Foam Applicators

These applicators work very well, especially for those hard to reach areas. They're a nice compliment to my Griot's G9.
ProsEasy to use. Effective. Convenient.

I love the Lake Country CCS pads and these are proving to be just as great! I really like the efficiency you gain from the larger surface area these give vs the old school round applicators.
Pros-larger surface area -enhanced gripping points that also allow you to apply appropriate pressure -3 for $10 is a deal
Cons-more pad applicator options to coincide with the DA/Rotary Pads

Takes a bit of adjustment to use. The trick is to coat the surface, then get product in the pores/pockets and squeeze to add more to the surface. Works like a charm that way.
Love! Great alt for no polisher. Yellow = new fav.

If you're like me and don't want to spend $$$ on a DA polisher then these are for you. Orange works well for scratches, white for polishes and glazes, yellow is good for all finishings and waxes. Red is super soft, but too soft it absorbs a lot. I really love the yellow more than the red because it uses a white pads material for the grip, it's much easier and just the right firmness.
ProsVariety and the new yellow pad as an option.
ConsWeak handle/grip on red all the rest are awesome.

I purchsed these after seeing one of Mike's write ups and saw the results he got with them. The material is the same as the material for the DA foam pad. I used them in those hard to reach areas where a DA won't fit. These handles the job very. I recommend them.
