Wanted to love it
Compared to IronX it isn't as effective at breaking down the contaminants and brake dust but I like its ability to foam
ProsLess expensive than IronX It foams real well Doesn't smell too bad
ConsNot as cost effective as it should be. Doesn't seem to be professional strength. Typical iron decon smell

McKees iron eater
Best marketing item there is. Show a car lover their hood turning purple and and they'll never go anywhere else. It's a bit pricey, but properly used pays for itself 10 fold. Great company.

Chose this so I wouldn’t have to tape anything off like some other iron removers. Fully cleaned car then used this a basically step 1 in a 20 hour detail. Claying did seem to be easier after this step ( first time using an iron remover) I went with the 128 oz using a 25% code so I have lots left for future use. Hopefully my ceramic coating works for the 3 years expected because my back is killing me from all the prep work and detail work - life goals = Garage so I can do a couple panels a time over a couple weeks. Autogeeks reviews of products ( I’ve ordered plenty) are pretty spot on.

I first bought the spray bottle, the product works great but the sprayer doesn't work well and the size barely was enough to cover my small car. Directions say to rinse in 3 minutes, but it takes about 5 or 6 minutes to cover the car with spray. The product smells awful but works well. Second purchase was the gallon size. EXPENSIVE! I used a larger empty Griot's Garage spay bottle and this was much easier to use, I covered the car in 3 to 4 minutes.
ConsSpray bottle sucks, gallon jug is EXPENSIVE.

This is a superior product. No one should wash/detail a car without first performing a chemical decontamination using McKee's Xtreme Iron Remover. It completely removes all iron contamination effortlessly. The color change lets you know the chemical decontamination process is working and how much iron contamination was on the vehicle. By performing this step prior to washing the vehicle you significantly, if not totally, eliminate the possibility of introducing swirl marks/scratches during the detailing procedure. You should completely rinse the car after application, prior to washing the vehicle, so any contaminates are removed prior to washing the vehicle. In addition, the depth of color is significantly improved due to the chemical removal of iron containing surface contaminants.
ProsApplied to dry vehicle. Easily removed with water prior to washing vehicle.
ConsTo improve speed/ease of application a pressurized stainless steel spray container is recommended.
