Good product

I’ve actually purchased this to replace the last generation ceramic coating. I just used it on my new Ridgeline with excellent results. Easy to apply and polish off and ends with a high gloss and hard finish. I believe the claim of water running off, dirt not showing and bugs not embedding as bad on the hood in the summer time. I even applied to the factory painted rims and actually made them acceptable to look at. This new product I can expect to be even better as can apply to a larger surface. The only drawback is the 24 hour vs 12 hour curing period needed, but the wait is worth it. I’ve used a couple other products and feel this is the best for me. I like the 2-3 year protection which is one of the longest they offer. I purchased the new edition because I like the old one.
ProsEasy to apply Bottle will do 2 medium sized cars or more Goes a long ways Great glossy shine Hard coating for protection
ConsCuring time is 24 hours (necessary) Be careful as can pour too much on applicator Can't see into bottle to see how much is left High cost but you get what you pay for

The Blackfire Pro Black edition is worth every penny
November 2, 2021
I have to say that the BLACKFIRE Pro Ceramic Paint Coating Black Edition has been the best I've ever used. I purchased this 2 years ago and my car still looks like new and the dirt and tar just washes right off without using bug and tar remover and the water still slides right off. You wont regret using BLACKFIRE Pro Ceramic Paint Coating Black Edition !!!

Love it ! I have applied ceramic coatings before so I was a little concerned if there were high spots I'd have to remove given the durability of this product. Well let me tell you I applied two coats without a single high spot. So so easy to apply with the microfiber block. Of course the car was corrected and wiped with an IPA prior to its application. I placed a line of the product on the microfiber blocks and applied it to the entire hood with time to spare. Then I waited for the rainbow effect and the sweating to appear. Then used a low nap microfiber cloth to level it and immediately after used a plush microfiber cloth to remove any excess. It came out wonderful. Next time I will be much quicker as in the past the other coatings I had used were not nearly as easy to apply.
ProsSuper easy to apply
ConsNot the depth I had hoped for

Blackfire Pro Black Edition - First Timer's Experience
September 26, 2021
Wanted to share my experience with Blackfire Pro Black Edition. To start, this was my first time ceramic coating a vehicle. I've been using sealants for years with TW Seal and Shine as my latest go-to. I've always been happy with sealants but wanted something more durable and that offered more protection for the clear coat so I decided to go with ceramic. Here's a few bullets: Overall, I'm extremely happy with the product and the results. This was my first time ceramic coating. Coated a full size Pickup I'm 60. Took my time so the project took longer than what I think it takes most folks. I spent the better part of 5 days from decon to completion. Installed the coating in high heat and humidity. (70-95F and 60+ humidity) I bought two 30ML bottles. Reading this forum, I predicted I would need two bottles for 2 coats. This proved to be spot on for me. I ended up using about a 1/4 of the second bottle. So a bottle and a 1/4 was sufficient for two coats on a 2020 RAM 1500. The end result is amazing. Extremely glossy. It definitely looks like there's now some sort of shiny 'shell' added the paint. Seems to repel our Oklahoma dust and there's truth to the self cleaning. We've had several rain showers since and each time, the truck comes out pretty clean though not as clean as a contact wash. Coating a car is definitely something any decent home detailer can do but it's not fast, easy or cheap. Take you time with the wipe off and leveling. Be careful when wiping off the product to avoid pushing it on to unwanted areas. 1 30ML bottle could easily coat (2x) my wife's Avalon. I needed just over one bottle for my full size truck. If you're considering installing a coating, I say go for it. It's not too hard. Just take your time and pay attention to details. You'll be fine and your ride will be awesome.

Good stuff
January 3, 2021
The experience was really good and it was easy to apply and remove. The spread was decent, however I didn't get that sweating effect which was so much highlighted in its description and by Mike Phillips. But still next day the car looked great. It was a white car but it certainly added great reflections and gloss to it.
ProsEase of use, great price using autogeek sales, roughly 15-18ml per layer..
ConsJust a tad expensive but Autogeek always has great sales and prices marked down..

stick to small sections
September 14, 2020
I would still do small sections as with normal ceramic coats. I did half my hood on one side and had hazing that i had to compound off. Doing small sections with a small amount on the otherside worked better. Still beading after a month so I cant speak for longevity yet. Will use again but will be more carefull.(This was on metallic black mercedes paint after paint correction with Rupes multiple step polishes).
Prosceramic protection

Awesome product
August 12, 2020
So far the best Ceramic paint coating I've use so to date, and I've used over 10.
ProsEasy to work with can do a panel at time, with an awesome shine with a deeper darker color on black paint.
ConsPricing point could be a little lower
