I used to polish wet sand marks with rotary and wool pad which made a hairy mess. I was surprised to find these do not make to much mess and polished out 2,000 grit wet sand marks very quickly with Griott's FCC. Even being cutting pads, they left a high gloss finish and I was tempted to not even polish afterwards and my vehicle is Black!! Do not use a brush on the pads while the device is on high speed (probably shouldn't do it with the device on at all) as the fibers will pull out.
ProsCut well and fast, low mess, leave a nice polished finish
ConsBeing a newbie, I used the brush on the pad while on speed 6. and it was tearing out the fibers. I was wondering why it wasn't cutting as quickly on successive panels and this was mainly why. I bought more and only used the Air Compressor which kept the pads in perfect shape and working well.

I recently purchased from extra 5.5 inch Meguairs cutting disk (microfiber) They are absolutely amazing when paint correction is being complete.
ProsSize. Weight. Cutting.
ConsYou’ll have to clean to refluff the pad during each panel. That’s a given.

Looking Good Auto Detailing
These pads are awsome at removing water spots, bird poop etchings, spider webbing & moderate scratches.. and the velcro backing does'nt seperate from the microfiber after several uses & washings. I used with Meguiars correction compound & the Flex 3401 DA polisher
Prosvery durable and lasting, leaves paint smooth & shinny with no swirls
Consremember to brush the microfiber pad after each section you do.. the fiber hairs must be standing upright, not matted down!

THE Swirl Remover Pad
Used this product recently with a Rupes 15 and HD Adapt on a 2008 never waxed, weekly swirl-o-matic black Jeep Grand Cherokee with excellent results. Swirls and RIDS removed while very little to no machine induced micro marring. Needless to say, the pad finishes very well. Need to make short work of an abused vehicle... try this pad.
Pros+ quick cut + finishes best in class + dissipates heat very well

DA microfiber cutting pads
Used pads after color sanding my 1930 model that was restored with a enamel paint with a lot of orange peal . Pad removed 2000 grit sand marks with Maquiars 100 compound . Using a DA polisher.

Great defect remover
These pads are fantastic! This slightly smaller size, while making it seem as if it might add time to a detail, doesnt! It allows more concentrated pressure to get deeper rids. Mixing d300 and m105 on this pad, and even a sprits or two of water helps give the pad even more bite to pull out the toughest of defects. Do remember to clean the pad out with compressed air after every panel, or at least brush to get some product out, but you wont be disappointed with this product.

Works great on hard clear
These products are great on hard clear coats like on my Tahoe and Cavalier. I have used them with the D300 polish as well as Optimum Poli-Seal. The D300 and these disk finish down great. The Poli-seal was even more amazing. Both of these were used with a Griots polisher and the Megs backing plate. I have found that to much heat can cause the pad to delaminate but I have corrected the issue by using a pad brush and compressed air to clean the pad after each pass. Give these things a try and you will be impressed.
